F1RST Restaurant was my response to the 2011 International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) competition for brief number two - Mutton Quad. The brief required a concept for a typographically themed restaurant. My idea was based around the awkwardness and anticipation of the dreaded first date, with a restaurant that is specifically designed around the idea in order to help nervous couples overcome their first date jitters.
